Biography
I have been teaching at Alfred University since the Fall 2007 Semester. In that time, I've:
- served on Faculty Senate for 7 years, serving as the Secretary for 3 and the President for 4;
- served on the Pre-Health Professions advising committee;
- taught an honors course titled Sports as a Microcosm of Society;
- taught an honors course titled The Aliens Did it?;
- taught an honors course titled The Pharmaceutical Industry;
- taught a special topics course titled Food Chemistry;
- taught a special topics course titled Chemistry: Healer, Killer, Intoxicator;
- taught a special topics course titled Drug Development and Design;
- taught Organic Chemistry I & II and the associated lab courses all my years at Alfred;
- taught Basic Organic Chemistry;
- taught General Chemistry I & II, and the associated lab courses and;
- taught a First Year Experience course titled Science That Changed the World.
